[/caption] Priyanka, who arrived here from Amethi, apologised to party activists for coming late. When workers complained about some problem with a sitting MLA, she said she was there to look into them but asked them to ensure victory of Congress candidates in the election, the sources said. Asking party workers to strengthen the organisation ahead of the election, Priyanka directed them to set up booth level committees to ensure that voters reached polling stations on the day of voting. She said she would be camping in these constituencies from 2 February onwards, adding that at this point of time all workers need to concentrate on elections, the sources said. The office-bearers also gave her feedback on whom to field from Sadar assembly seat where the party is yet to finalise its candidate. The Election Commission kept an eye on the meeting by getting it videographed, the sources said. Earlier in the day, the cavalcade of Priyanka Gandhi was stopped by women workers of a textile factory, which was closed two years back. The women, who apprised Priyanka about their problems, demanded immediate reopening of the factory. She also visited the house of Congress leader Mata Prasad Vaishya in Gauriganj to offer condolences on the death in the family. PTI
