Prince William, Kate Middleton celebrate first wedding anniversary

London: Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, on Sunday celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The royal couple were planning to make it a private affair, a spokesperson for St. James’ Palace confirmed earlier this week. The couple intended to travel to an undisclosed location in Britain for the anniversary, reports contactmusic.com. Since then, William has been largely tied up with his duties as a search and rescue pilot for the Royal Air Force in the Falklands, while Kate has duly fulfilled numerous regal roles, from playing solo roles to conducting engagements alongside Queen Elizabeth II.
