Paes-Stepanek win men's doubles at US Open

New York, Sep 8 (IANS) India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner easily defeated second seeds Alexander Peya of Austria and Bruno Soares of Brazil in the men's doubles final to win the US Open tennis championships here Sunday.

The 6-1, 6-3 win at the Arthur Ashe Stadium gave Paes and Stepanek their first US Open title together.
