Batasipur, Assam: Additional superintendent of police (ASP) of Sonitpur district Gulzar Hussain was killed while four policemen and an informer were seriously injured in an encounter with anti-talk NDFB-Songbijit faction at Dhekiajuli area today. Police said the ultras fired upon the policemen who were conducting an operation against the militant outfit at Batasipur, over 200 km from the state capital, killing Hussain at around 8 am.[caption id=“attachment_1363127” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  On the guard.
