New Delhi: Gerard Butler-starrer Olympus Has Fallen, a fast paced action thriller, will hit the screens in India March 22.

The movie will release here through Multivision Multimedia. “’Olympus Has Fallen’ is a fast paced action thriller and we are happy to release the movie in India at the same time as its global release,” Sunil Udhani, distribution head, Multivision Multimedia, said in a statement.

“Gerald Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman have a loyal fan following in India, and I am confident that this movie will thrill their fans as well as fans of the action thriller genre,” he added.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua of “Training Day” fame, the film is about a disgraced former secret service agent, Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) who gets a chance at redemption when the White House is captured by North Korean terrorists and the President (Aaron Eckhart) taken hostage.

Multivision Multimedia’s last releases in India were Looper, The Expendables 2, Piranha 3DD and The Raid: Redemption.
