New Zealand captain Ross Taylor won the toss and elected to bat first in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka at Pallekele International Stadium on Sunday. The match originally scheduled to be played in Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium has been shifted to Kandy because of poor ground conditions caused by heavy storms. New Zealand left out batsman Brendon McCullum due to an injury and allrounder Jacob Oram from the team that played in the Twenty20 match that was washed out last week after only 16 overs of play was possible.
