Northern Army chief calls on Jammu and Kashmir Governor

Srinagar: Northern Army Command chief Lt Gen KT Parnaik today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and briefed him about various aspects of the recent attempts of infiltration by militants from across the Line of Control (LoC).[caption id=“attachment_806767” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Northern Command Chief, Lt Gen KT Parnaik. Image courtesy PIB[/caption] Parnaik also updated the Governor about recent developments in Eastern Ladakh, along the Line of Actual Control, an official spokesman said after the meeting at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar. He said the Governor and the Northern Army Commander discussed issues relating to internal and external security situation in the state. Corps Commander of Srinagar-based 15 Corps Lt Gen Om Prakash was present during the meeting, the spokesman added. PTI
