Dubai, Dec 31 (IANS) India’s new ambassador and consul general have assumed their posts in the UAE, the Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced.
T.P. Seetharam is the new ambassador and Anurag Bhushan the new consul general in Dubai, Khaleej Times reported Tuesday.
Ambassador Seetharam, who arrived in the UAE Sunday, is expected to soon present his credentials to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Seetharam succeeds M.K Lokesh, who is now posted in Switzerland.

Prior to his new posting, Seetharam served as India’s high commissioner to Mauritius.
Bhushan succeeds Sanjay Verma, who has been appointed India’s azmbassador to Ethiopia.
