 "Nagaland legally correct to explore oil: Neiphiu Rio")
Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today said that the state government was legally correct in using the Constitutional provision – Article 371(A) in exploration of the oil and natural gas in the state.
However, the state government was ready to talk to the Union government if there was any misunderstanding, said Rio amid media reports that the Centre has objected to it.

State chief secretary, Alemtemshi Jamir said that if the state was not allowed to go ahead with its own rules and regulations for exploration of oil and natural gas resources, the Centre would have to provide more fund to the state.
