Mumbai Lit Fest to kick off from 31 October

The Mumbai Lit Fest will make its third appearance at NCPA from 31 October through to 4 November.

Mumbai Lit Fest to kick off from 31 October

Brace yourself for some enlightening insights from publishers and authors from the world of literature in India. The Mumbai Lit Fest will make its third appearance at NCPA from 31 October through to 4 November. On Friday, the longlist for the Tata Literature Live! First Book Award was announced. Pic courtesy IBNLive.[/caption] In the line-up are: The Wildings (by Nilanjana Roy), The King in Exile (Sudha Shah), Days of Gold and Sepia (Yasmeen Premji), Music of the Spinning Wheel (Sudheendra Kulkarni),  Taj Mahal Foxtrot (Naresh Fernandes), Decoding Rahul Gandhi (Aarthi Ramachandran), Breakout Nations (Ruchir Sharma), Two Fates (Judy Balan), A Free Man (Aman Sethi), Mumbaistan (Piyush Jha), and  The Aryavarta Chronicles (Krishna Udayasankar). The winner will be announced at the festival on Sunday, 4 November. The five-day literary festival will witness  events ranging from panel discussions and book launches, poetry readings and lectures by experts, to open house conversations with eminent authors, publishers and literary agents. As in the past, entry to the festival will be free and on a first-come-first-served basis.
