Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan today congratulated Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on the latter being named as UPA’s Presidential nominee. [caption id=“attachment_346452” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“PTI”]  [/caption] The governor met Mukherjee, who was in the city to attend a couple of official meetings, at Raj Bhavan, an official release said. With Mulayam Singh Yadav‘s Samajwadi Party and Mayawati‘s Bahujan Samaj Party extending their support to Mukherjee’s candidature and former president APJ Abdul Kalam yet to affirm his candidature, Mukherjee is appeared most likely to become the 13th president of the country.
