KABUL A loud explosion hit the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, Reuters reporters heard, hours after a suicide bomber killed at least 11 people in the eastern province of Kunar.

There was no immediate information on any casualties or damage from the explosion, the latest in a series to have struck Kabul in recent months.
