Kochi: Kerala has the potential to become a hub for health tourism, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said on Thursday, citing availability of latest technology, medical expertise and low treatment costs in the state. “Treatment cost in Kerala is one-tenth of the cost in other parts of the country. So, we need to develop the potential further by attracting investment and providing training to doctors and medical staff,” said Chandy at the fourth edition of the Kerala Health Tourism conference here.
