Kannada superstar Pooja Gandhi joins JD(S)

The actress visited the JD(S) office along the Race Course Road and held discussions with party leaders today, he said. Datta said Pooja has been associated with JD(S) for “quite some time” through Kannada film producer and JD(S) leader E Krishnappa who had produced the superhit film Mungaru Male, featuring her. “The actress is an ardent fan of former chief minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy and has a lot of respect for him and his ideals,” he said. Pooja has acted in comercially successful Kannada films such as Mungaru Male, Taj Mahal and Budhivanta and in Tamil films Thalai Ezhuthu and Kokki.
