[/caption] There was no official word from either side on what transpired at the meeting between Nath and Mamata but it is understood that the two discussed coming presidential elections, for which Congress is keen to get TMC’s support, and urban development projects in West Bengal. Mamata is slated to attend a meeting convened by the Centre on 5 May to try and evolve a consensus on NCTC and is also likely to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during her stay in New Delhi.
