New Delhi: British actress Judi Dench looked elegant as she walked the red carpet in an ivory chikan embroidered gown by Indian designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla at the 70th Venice International Film Festival. [caption id=“attachment_1079667” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Reuters[/caption] The three-quarter-length sleeved gown had an inner chiffon layer paired with an over-coat, detailing the intricate Lucknowi chikan work. The outfit, which had pearl buttons lined in the front, had slits at both the sides. The 78-year-old actress completed the look with necklaces, diamond earrings, a few bangles around one wrist and a small glittering silver clutch. Dench was at the festival to promote her latest film “Philomena” written by Steve Coogan and directed by Stephen Frears. The actress has previously worn an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfit at the BAFTA awards in 2012. PTI
