Mumbai: Jet Airways today said it restored full inventory on the travel portal MakeMyTrip, nearly three weeks after the carrier snapped the business with the portal, protesting a particular fare scheme.

“Full inventory of Jet Airways is available on the portal. MakeMyTrip customers will now be able to access and book all domestic and international Jet flights,” the Nasdaq- listed portal said in a release in Mumbai.[caption id=“attachment_299089” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Warming up. In a separate statement, Jet also said its full inventory will be available on the portal.

MakeMyTrip chief operating officer and co-founder Keyur Joshi said, “We value our relationship with Jet and look forward to strengthening it, as we continue to partner with them. We stand committed to providing customers the best quality of services and value-based offerings.”

While Jet had limited the inventory available to the portal for sale, budget carrier IndiGo had completely pulled it off to protest against the opaque fares scheme the portal had put up on its website.

Opaque fares was a scheme offered by travel portals such as Yatra and Makemytrip, which offered heavily discounted air tickets without disclosing the airline name until the payment was made.

However, the Director Generl of Civil Aviation had directed all airlines to ‘immediately withdraw’ participation from such schemes through a directive on 28 March.
