Troops belonging to the China’s PLA attempted to bring down a 200 feet wall of loose stones constructed 250 metres on the Indian side of Line of Actual Control in Yangtse area of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, Defence Minister AK Antony informed Parliament today.[caption id=“attachment_162266” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Wary about China. Image courtesy PIB”]  [/caption] “The stone wall was partially damaged by PLA which has been reconstructed. As per the established mechanism with China, a strong protest was lodged with the Chinese side on the action of the PLA patrol in a flag meeting,” Antony said. The incident occurred on 13 July 2011. “… there are a few areas along the border where India and China have different perceptions of LAC,” the minister said.
