Indian shuttler Anand Pawar eased past Hsuan Yi Hsueh of Taipei in straight games to storm into the men’s singles quarterfinals of the German Open badminton championship in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany on Thursday. World number 51 Anand took just 29 minutes to get the better of Hsueh 21-15 21-13 in the round of 16.
