Actress Freida Pinto says she had a terrifying brush with a suicide bomber while filming a TV show in Afghanistan. Before finding fame with her role in multi-Oscar winning 2008 movie Slumdog Millionaire, the Indian beauty was a presenter on Zee TV’s travel show Full Circle. They calmly asked us to go the other way…The guy said, ‘You see that little red car? There’s a suicide bomber in that car, and it’s going to go off anytime.’ “He was so matter-of-fact… It was so sad. No one even knew who (the bomber) was. I don’t know if there was an explosion. We left the scene,” said Pinto. PTI
