Emma Watson says she's not in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Los Angeles: Harry Potter star Emma Watson has dismissed rumours of her possible casting for Fifty Shades of Grey. The 21-year-old said she was never in talks to join the headline-grabbing steamy movie project and she has never even read the much-talked-about erotic novel by EL James, reported Aceshowbiz. Reuters[/caption] “I haven’t read the book, I haven’t read a script, nothing. There are so many movies you become attached to when I’ve literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo —I never even saw a script,” she said. The actress says she needed to address the report since some of her friends and family kept asking her if she was really in talks to play books protagonist Anastasia Steele. “I told them just because there are 60 articles on the Internet doesn’t mean it’s any less true than if there are three or four. The thing is I’m not going to go out there every time someone attaches me to a film to say no or release a statement,” she added. PTI
