Frankfurt (Germany): German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom is likely to cut about 4,000 jobs worldwide, according to media reports. The redundancy plan is expected to be carried out in a span of three years and would mainly hit its IT services business T-Systems, Xinhua cited from a Die Welt report. The situation is aggravated by newcomers who are fueling a price war.
