New Delhi: FMCG major Colgate-Palmolive today posted 3.47 percent decline in net profit at Rs 111 crore for its third quarter ended 31 December.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 115 crore during the same period of previous year, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company, however, rose to Rs 762.7 crore for the third quarter, as against Rs 669.6 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Colgate-Palmolive is present in the segments of oral care, personal care, home care and professional oral care.
The company’s scrip closed at Rs 1,384.50 on the BSE, up 1.46 percent from the previous close.
