Clarke's side can become Australia's best-ever team: Warne

Melbourne: Spin legend Shane Warne believes the present Australian team, led Michael Clarke, has the potential to become one of the best ever sides of the country. “About what this Australian cricket team can achieve, I think it can go all the way and become one of the best sides that has ever played for Australia,” said Warne, who was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame on Monday. The former leg-spinner, who drew curtains to his international career in 2007 after claiming 708 Test wickets, said Australian cricket is in for some “exciting time” ahead after successfully overcoming the transition period. “I think if we look at the Australian team at the moment and the people on the fringe, we’re at an exciting time,” Warne said.
