 "Oriental Bank Q2 net jumps 80% at Rs 302 cr")
Oriental Bank of Commerce today reported 80 percent jump in net profit at Rs 302.19 crore for the second quarter ended September 2012.

The bank had posted net profit of Rs 167.74 crore during the same period last fiscal. Total income of the bank rose by 18.21 percent to Rs 4,821.37 crore in the July-September quarter against Rs 4,078.48 crore a year ago.
OBC scrip was trading at Rs 306.30 apiece in afternoon trade on the BSE, up 4.29 percent from the previous close.
