Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today suspended trading in securities of 49 companies for non-compliances of various clauses of the listing agreement.
“The 49 companies have failed to comply with various provisions of the listing agreement up to quarters ended June 2011,” BSE said in a statement in Mumbai.[caption id=“attachment_257615” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Conting shares. Reuters”]  [/caption]
Trading in securities of the 49 companies will be suspended from 20 April on account of non-compliance with the provisions of the listing agreement, it added.
The stock exchange said if a company complies with the provisions of the listing agreement by 13 April, then the trading will be suspended till 26 April.
In case a company fails to comply with the provisions till 20 April, then its trading will be suspended till it complies with the norms.
