Balasubramanium to become new Tripura DGP
Balasubramanium, who arrived in Agartala on Wednesday in a three day tour met Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and Chief Secretary SK Panda and Sinha.

Agartala: C Balasubramanium, senior IPS officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre and Additional Director General of CRPF, would take over as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Tripura, official sources said today.

The incumbent DGP Sanjoy Sinha would retire on 30 June next and after his retirement Balasubramanium would take the charge.
Balasubramanium, who arrived in Agartala on Wednesday in a three day tour met Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and Chief Secretary SK Panda and Sinha.
Sources in the police department said, he has vast experience of working in the north eastern region.
