 Army soldier missing with ammunition from Udhampur

Jammu: An Army soldier has gone missing with a service rifle and ammunition from a camp in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today. Sepoy Shrikant Tukaram went missing on the night of 6 July with his INSAS rifle, three magazines and 60 rounds from the Army camp, SSP, Udhampur, Anil Magotra said.[caption id=“attachment_941981” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]Indian Army soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir. Tukaram belongs to Maharashtra and is a soldier of 874 Battalion of Army. The Maharashtra Police and all police stations in Jammu and Kashmir have been alerted about the missing soldier. Efforts are on to trace Tukaram, the SSP said. PTI
