Sao Paulo: The son of Formula One legend Alain Prost has revealed that his father “cried a lot” following the death of rival Ayrton Senna. Nicolas Prost said his father and Senna, who died in a 1994 crash, sorted out their differences following Prost’s retirement from racing in 1993, reports Xinhua. “He cried a lot and for a long time,” said the 31-year-old. “They had a sporting rivalry but it ended when my dad finished his career. I don’t like it when people say there was more to it than there really was.” [caption id=“attachment_458023” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Ayrton Senna died in a 1994 crash. He didn’t like it when Senna beat him, but that is normal in sport. “Things happened between them but in the end they became good friends. People should remember that.” IANS
