 "50th Bundesliga season to kick-off on 27th August")
The German Football League (DFL) has revealed the match fixtures for the 50th Bundesliga season. Th 2012-13 season starts, as always, with the Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund taking on Werder Bremen at the Signal Iduna Park August 27. “The fixture between Dortmund and Bremen is very rich in tradition. On 24th August 1963 Timo Konietzka scored the first Bundesliga goal ever for Dortmund against Bremen,” Dortmund chairman of the board Hans Joachim Watzke said.
