Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) put in a dominant performance to outclass Delhi Capitals (DC) and secure victory in the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Sunday. RCB spinners were supreme as they orchestrated a spectacular collapse to restrict DC to a mere 113 runs. During the run chase, RCB were composed and led by Smriti Mandhana and Ellyse Perry they earned a resounding eight-wicket victory.

Smriti took charge of the chase and along with an aggressive Sophie Devine, added 49 runs for the first wicket. Despite the efforts of Shikha Pandey’s economical spell and the dismissal of Devine, DC never really had enough runs to put RCB under any strife.
