WPL 2024 Final: Check out full list of awards and the winners as Royal Challengers Bangalore finally ended their wait for a title by beating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 final.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finally ended their wait for a title as they beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by eight wickets in a low-scoring final and emerged victorious in the second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. Led by Smriti Mandhana, RCB displayed a dominant performance to outsmart DC in front of a packed house at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Here are the award winners for WPL 2024:

Winners (Rs 6 crore) - RCB earned their first-ever title after a clinical win over the DC in the WPL 2024 final.

Runners-up (Rs 3 crore) – DC, who suffered their second straight loss in as many finals in WPL, ended up as the runners-up.

Emerging player of the season (Rs 5 lakh) - Shreyanka Patil of the RCB was one of the stars of the season. She claimed the emerging player of the season award for her outstanding bowling.

Most Valuable Player (Rs 5 lakh) - Deepti Sharma of the UP Warriorz came up with a dominant all-round performance right through the season to become the most valuable player.

Orange Cap (Rs 5 lakh) - Ellyse Perry, once again from the RCB, edged past DC captain Meg Lanning to top the Orange Cap standings. The Australia all-rounder scored 347 runs in nine matches of this season’s WPL with an average of 69.40. She will also be taking home a prize money of Rs 5 lakh.

Purple Cap (Rs 5 lakh) - Shreyanka Patil, the off-spin prodigy from the RCB, grabbed the Purple Cap with 13 wickets to her name.

Most Sixes Award (Rs 5 lakh) - Shafali Verma, the DC all-rounder, who smashed 20 sixes in the season took home the award along with Rs 5 lakh.

Best Strike Rate Award (Rs 5 lakh) - Georgia Wareham from the RCB ended the season with a strike rate of 163.23.

Catch of the season (Rs 5 lakh) - S. Sajana, the Mumbai Indians youngster, plucked the best catch of the season and got this award.

Fair Play Award (Rs 5 lakh) - It was a good season for the RCB as they also took home the Fair Play Award.
