The wedding is taking place less than a week after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup, in which Kuldeep was part of the Indian squad that made history by successfully defending their title on home soil. Who is Vanshika Chadha?
Kuldeep and fiancee Vanshika go a long way back, having grown up together in Kanpur where their families resided just three kilometres apart from one another. While Kuldeep’s family hail from the Lal Bungalow area of the city in western Uttar Pradesh, Vanshika’s family resides in Shyam Nagar.
Vanshika, additionally, had pursued higher studies in Melbourne and reportedly works as an administrative professional with Life Insurance Corporation. She has also been a constant presence in Kuldeep’s life since his U-19 days.
The couple had got engaged on 4 June last year in a traditional ceremony in Lucknow, and were originally set to tie the knot in November. The wedding date, however, had to be postponed in order to allow Kuldeep to focus on the T20 World Cup.

Kuldeep and Vanshika will later be hosting a grand reception in Lucknow on 17 March with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in attendance.
