Mohammed Siraj gave a massive reprieve to Harry Brook on Day 4 of the Oval Test as he could not control his feet from touching the boundary line after taking the catch of the batsman in the 35th over of England’s innings.

It was a shortish delivery bowled by Prasidh Krishna, Brook top-edged the pull and it went straight to Siraj at the long leg region, who completed the catch but touched the boundary cushion. Consequently, six runs were awarded to Book and England. It could prove to be a huge moment in the context of the result, and Siraj’s reaction told the whole story. The pacer could not believe it and covered his face after making the goof-up.
