Is 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi the real deal? The Bihar batting sensation is doing everything to prove he is. After making T20 history in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he became the youngest ever centurion in the format while playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Gujarat Titans in Jaipur, on Wednesday, Suryavanshi mashed nine sixes in a match-winning 86 as Indian Under-19 ODI side defeated England by four wickets in a rain-impacted match at Northampton.
Having scored 48 and 45 in the first two matches of the series, Suryavanshi finally crossed the 50-run landmark in the third ODI, scoring his fifty in just 20 balls and taking only 31 balls to post 86 as India successfully chased down the target of 267.

Suryavanshi’s attacking knock also helped India to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match U19 ODI series against England.
England scored 268/6, batting first, with captain Thomas Rew and BJ Dawkins scoring 76 and 62 respectively. Off-spinner Kanishk Chouhan was India’s pick of the bowlers with three wickets in eight overs for 30 runs as the match was reduced to 40 overs.
