India dominated Pakistan in the first innings of their Asia Cup 2025 clash at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, September 14. Pakistan, who won the toss and chose to bat first, struggled as they scored just 127/9 in 20 overs, with Indian bowlers controlling the innings from the start.

Hardik Pandya picked up an early wicket, sending Saim Ayub back for a duck, while Jasprit Bumrah took two key wickets, including Mohammad Haris in the powerplay and Sufiyan Muqeem towards the backend. The spinners also did a great job, with Kuldeep Yadav taking three wickets and Axar Patel picking two.

Varun Chakravarthy bowled economically, giving away only 24 runs in his four overs, and Abhishek Sharma bowled a tidy over too. India’s bowlers kept Pakistan’s run rate low and gave very few chances to build big partnerships.

Netizens troll Pakistan

Fans on social media are celebrating India’s performance, calling it a “complete domination” and praising the bowling attack for keeping Pakistan under control.

Slowly the hype of these matches will die. Haven’t seen a single ball, there was no point with the mismatch. This Pakistan team can’t play India C #PakVsInd
