Sunrisers Hyderabad full squad after auction: Sunrisers Hyderabad have had a run similar to that of Kolkata Knight Riders over the last two seasons – enduring a disappointing run this year after reaching the final in 2024. And after finishing sixth out of 10 teams,  the ‘Orange Army’ made some key changes to their lineup, releasing seven players into the auction pool including leg-spinners Rahul Chahar and Adam Zampa and trading senior India pacer Mohammed Shami to Lucknow Super Giants.

SRH, who have finished runners-up twice since winning their only IPL title in 2016, had entered the IPL auction with a purse of Rs 25.5 crore for 10 overseas slots, including two for overseas players. While they had retained their batting core that included explosive openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head as well as Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the middle-order, the Pat Cummins-led side was staring at glaring holes in the bowling department at the time of announcing their list of retained players.
