Yashasvi Jaiswal took a stunning catch in his debut ODI game against England. He combined with another debutant Harshit Rana to dismiss Ben Duckett in a spectacular fashion. The video of his catch is going viral on social media.

India’s young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal made an immediate impact in his debut ODI with a stunning piece of fielding that left fans in awe. The 22-year-old took a breathtaking catch to dismiss Ben Duckett during the first ODI between India and England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.

The moment of brilliance unfolded in the 10th over of England’s innings when debutant Harshit Rana bowled a hard-length delivery. Duckett, who had been looking in good touch, attempted a pull shot while standing slightly forward in the crease. However, he mistimed the stroke, sending the ball high into the air.

Stationed at midwicket, Jaiswal quickly assessed the trajectory and sprinted back before making a full-length dive to complete a spectacular grab. His impeccable judgment and athleticism ensured that India claimed their second breakthrough of the match, dismissing Duckett for 32 off 29 balls.

The stunning catch immediately went viral on social media, with fans and experts lauding Jaiswal’s agility and commitment on the field. With his exceptional fielding effort, Jaiswal has already proven that he is not just a talented batter but also a valuable asset in the field.

As far as the match is concerned, England skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first . Duckett forged a crucial 75-run opening partnership with Phil Salt before the latter was run out for 43 off 26 balls in the 9th over. In the very next over, Rana dismissed Duckett thanks to the brilliant catch from Jaiswal. Rana picked up Harry Brook’s wicket in the same over, sending him back for a duck.
