World Cup 2023: Rohit Sharma better than Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, says Wasim Akram

Pakistan legend Wasim Akram was full of praise for India captain Rohit Sharma after the Men in Blue defeated the Netherlands on Sunday to achieve a 100 percent win record in the group stage of the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Akram in fact said that Rohit is better and different than Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Kane Williamson and Babar Azam. Shoaib Malik also joined Akram in praising Rohit and added that the India captain has the same approach against all the bowlers. “Rohit is that kind of a batter, who will go at all the five bowlers of the opposition team. Rest what Wasim bhai has spoken about the other batters, they will not go against the all five, they sometime wait for the part-timers as well, but not Rohit,” Malik said.
