World Cup 2023: India's top 10 run-getters and wicket-takers in the history of the tournament

The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will start in India on 5 October. The first match will see England take on New Zealand in what will be a repeat of the 2019 World Cup Final and it will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This iconic venue will also host the highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan on 14 October. The two semifinal matches will be held on 15 November at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and 16 November at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens. India go into this tournament as one of the favourites and the side would be keen to hit their stride early in the competition. Mohammed Shami, who will be one of India’s key fast bowlers this World Cup, is third on the list with 31 wickets in 11 innings with an average of 15.70. 4.
