Former England captain Michael Vaughan’s banter with former India opener Wasim Jaffer is quite famous, especially when it comes to engaging in hilarious word-play on social media. Is this the reason you constantly have a pop at him .. #CWC2023 #India #Pakistan.” Amid this, Jaffer took up the opportunity to take a jibe at the former England captain. “On a podcast Michael Vaughan said that I hired a professional to banter with him. It’s true. But I only did that as I thought he needed professional help. And it’s worked. From unnecessarily trolling Ind fans to acting like an Ind fan, look how far he’s come!”, he wrote.
In response, Vaughan too played along and quote-tweeted Jaffer’s tweet. “Can’t believe it’s not you Wasim Jaffer.. but let’s carry on the fun .. even if it’s against a professional @clubprairiefire is the podcast by the way,” he tweeted.
