Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma welcomed their second child, Akaay, on February 15. Kohli, who has not been part of the India squad for a month now, addressed the speculations surrounding his absence, with a social media post , confirming the birth of his son. He also urged the fans to give his family private space during this time. A picture has now been doing the rounds on social media where Kohli can be seen seated at a restaurant with a child presumed to be Vamika. The picture was reportedly clicked in London.

Even though he has not been part of the Indian team for this ongoing series against England, Kohli took to social media to express his elation when the hosts clinched the series with a win in the Ranchi Test. Kohli shared a heartfelt message applauding the team’s tenacity and triumph.
“Yes! Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination and resilience,” Kohli posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
