Team India players will be busy playing the Netherlands on the day of Diwali but they celebrated the festival a day before in Bengaluru in a grand manner. In a video shared by BCCI and other images that have gone viral on social media, Indian players can be seen donning traditional clothes and attending a party with their family members to celebrate Diwali. Former India captain Virat Kohli attended the event with his wife and actor Anushka Sharma, while captain Rohit Sharma was accompanied by his spouse Ritika Sajdeh.

All the players were seen having a gala time at the party.

India take on the Netherlands in their last group game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. India are unbeaten in the tournament and will be aiming to secure their ninth consecutive win in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. India are scheduled to play New Zealand in their semi-final which will take place on 15 November at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and another victory will go a long way in boosting their morale further.
