The ICC on Thursday unveiled the schedule for the warm-up fixtures that will take place ahead of next month’s T20 World Cup in the United States and the Caribbean, with the practice games set to take place over a period of six days.
According to a release shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the warm-up fixtures will take place between 27 May — a day after the conclusion of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) — and 1 June.

India, who are placed alongside arch-rivals Pakistan, co-hosts USA as well as Canada and Ireland in Group A, face neighbours Bangladesh in their only warm-up game ahead of the mega event that takes place on 1 June in a yet-to-be-decided venue.
Former champions Australia and Sri Lanka are set to play two warm-up games each. Sri Lanka, who will be led by spin-bowling all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, are in action against Netherlands on 28 May and face Ireland three days later, both matches taking place at the Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.

The Mitchell Marsh-led Australian team, meanwhile, take on Namibia on 28 May and face co-hosts West Indies two days later, with their practice fixtures taking place at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago.
