India’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign will start on 5 June with a Group A match against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York They will face arch-rivals Pakistan at the same stadium on 9 June. Besides Ireland and Pakistan, USA and Canada are also part of India's group . The top two teams from the group will qualify for Super Eight where the teams will be divided into two groups of four sides each.

India’s only T20 World Cup title came in 2007 and they are looking to end their 11-year-long wait for an ICC title. Their last ICC title was the Champions Trophy win in 2013.
