Being asked to bat, Rohit Sharma (23 off 11) and Virat Kohli (37 off 28) played knocks to begin things and kept the runs flowing. Rishabh Pant (36 off 24) and Shivam Dube (34 off 24) started slowly but picked up pace as things moved along. Top-scoring India’s effort was Hardik Pandya who scored 50 runs from 27 balls as India posted 196/5.
