The T20 World Cup 2024 kicks off on 1 June (2 June in India) in the Americas with a Group A match between co-host USA and Canada. Group A of the ICC event will also be in focus because cricketing giants and arch-rivals India and Pakistan have been placed in it. The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match will take place on 9 June at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
Besides India, Pakistan, USA and Canada, Ireland is the fifth member of Group A. The T20 World Cup 2024 will be the first to have a record 20 teams with each of the four groups having five teams.
