Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals preview: It will be a battle of two wicketkeeper-captains when Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday. RR will be eager to make it two wins in two games whereas DC are aiming for their first win of the tournament after going down to Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Saturday.

Home teams have won each of the games in IPL 2024 so far, and if that trend is to go by, RR are clear favourites for this.  However, do not count DC out just yet. They still have an able top order in David Warner, Mitchell Marsh and Shai Hope, and Rishabh Pant would hope that the game against RR brings the best out of him with the bat. Kuldeep Yadav (2/20) was impressive with the ball for DC and so was Khalil Ahmed, who despite giving away 43 runs in his four overs, still managed to get the wickets of dangerman Sam Curran and Shashank Singh against PBKS.

RR, however, would expect more from Yashasvi Jaiswal who has got off to a rather moderate start to the season with a 12-ball 24. Sanju Samson (82*) was the biggest positive for RR, as was Royan Parag (43), whose returns with the bat against LSG was pleasing to see. Trent Boult was the pick of bowlers against LSG with two wickets and Sandeep Sharma will look to maintain his consistency in the death overs.
