The latest episode of RCB Insider Show with Mr. Nags featured former Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Virat Kohli and it was everything we expected it to be. There were jokes, cheeky one-liners, and uncontrolled laughter. The recent episode which has been uploaded by RCB on X and other social media platforms started with Mr. Nags – a character played by Danish Sait – talking about how Kohli is his friend because he was a common man and not a commentator. He was in fact referring to Kohli’s recent outburst against the commentators who had criticised him over the strike rate.
Kohli’s comments on the commentators did not go down well with legendary Sunil Gavaskar who later launched an attack on the star batter and Mr. Nags didn’t miss the chance to use the ‘Sunil’ reference in front of the RCB player. This resulted in a confused and funny reaction from Kohli as he tried to control his feelings.
Mr. Nags, however, was talking about Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri, who announced his international retirement on Thursday.
Here’s how the conversation went:
“See Virat, I want to talk about a friend of yours. Not mine but your friend. He said a lot of nice things about you… Sunil,” said Mr Nags.
“Who?” a confused Kohli asked. “Chhetri,” Nags cleared as they burst into laughter.
Kohli also revealed that Chhetri personally informed him about the retirement decision.
“He actually messaged me as well, informing me that he is going to do it,” Kohli added.

The former India captain also revealed how his daughter Vamika has started playing cricket and enjoys the “swing”.
“My daughter has picked up a bat and she has really started to enjoy the swing. But I am not sure. It’s their choice at the end of the day,” said Kohli.
