'Praise God': Natasha Stankovic shares another cryptic Instagram story amid Hardik Pandya divorce rumours

Amid rumours of divorce with India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Natasha Stankovic on Tuesday shared a story on her Instagram account, seeking for God’s blessings. The Instagram story that she had uploaded was a video of a drive on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai, and she wrote the phrase “Praise God…." on her story, along with a series of emojis.

This is the second time Natasha has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic post ever since divorce rumours began circulating. Just a few days ago, the Serbian model had shared an Instagram story of a photo of traffic signs. The caption for that read : “Someone is about to get on the streets.” This was in the aftermath of the ongoing speculations regarding the couple and that Natasha had reportedly asked Hardik for 70 per cent of his property as part of the divorce settlement.

The rumours had begun when a Reddit user recently noticed that Natasha had removed the “Pandya” surname from her Instagram handled. The user also noticed that the couple had not shared pictures of each other on social media recently, including on 4 March, which is Natasha’s birthday.

Interestingly, Natasha wasn’t also present in any of Mumbai Indians’ matches in IPL 2024. There is, however, a school of thought on social media that suggests that this is nothing but a PR stunt, following Hardik’s forgettable IPL season with MI, where they finished 10th out of 10 teams. An official statement from the couple, however, is yet to be released.

Hardik had tied the knot with Natasha in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, during the lockdown. The couple were not able to hold a grand ceremony due to COVID-19, but had held a three-day wedding function in Udaipur last year. The couple have a three year-old son named Agastya Pandya.

Adding speculation to the divorce, Natasha was seen along with Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s rumoured boyfriend Aleksandar Alex Ilic in Mumbai. When asked about the separation rumours with Hardik, Natasha replied: “Thank you very much”.

Hardik, meanwhile, shared pictures of training session with Team India in the United States ahead of the T20 World Cup. He captioned that post “On national duty”.

India, placed in Group A, begin their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland in New York on 5 June, before facing Pakistan at the same venue four days later.
